HigherDOSE Predicts: Wellness Trends in 2025

Lauren Berlingeri and Katie Kaps

As we step into 2025, the wellness world is buzzing with innovative trends and technologies aimed at enhancing physical, emotional, and mental well-being. In fact, the wellness economy is expected to grow at an annual rate of 8.6%, reaching $7.4 trillion in 2025 and $8.5 trillion by 2027. At HigherDOSE, we’re always up to date with the latest advancements, ensuring we stay ahead of the curve in offering transformative wellness solutions.

Our co-founders, Lauren Berlingeri and Katie Kaps, share their insights on the top wellness trends set to shape the year ahead.

Here’s a glimpse into Katie’s New Year’s resolutions and her personal approach to health and well-being:

“My health goals for 2025 include embracing my natural beauty by growing out my blonde hair and returning to my natural color, as well as letting go of fake lashes and manicures. I want to focus on building muscle and cultivating discipline as a key character trait. I also want to act like the CEO of my own health by conducting bloodwork and detailed diagnostics every 1-2 months.”

1. Ovarian Health: The New Frontier in Female Longevity

Women's health is taking the spotlight, with increasing attention on ovarian health as a cornerstone of female longevity. As more women choose to delay pregnancy, fertility rates among women aged 35-39 have risen by 67% between 1990 and 2019. This shift is accompanied by a growing demand for innovative solutions to support fertility, including the use of Platelet-Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy for ovarian rejuvenation. PRP therapy can improve egg quality, delay menopause, and increase fertility, making it a powerful tool for women looking to optimize their reproductive health and extend their fertility window.

Research shows that women who have children later in life, particularly in their 40s, tend to live longer, and delaying menopause is linked to greater overall health and vitality. Ovarian health plays a crucial role in hormonal balance, bone density, and cardiovascular health. By focusing on maintaining healthy ovaries, women can not only support their fertility but also enhance their overall wellness and longevity.

In 2025, expect more women to proactively adopt measures like PRP therapy, supplements, cycle syncing, daily detox, customized nutritional plans, infrared and red light therapy, and stress-reducing practices as part of their daily routine. These strategies can help improve ovarian function, delay the onset of menopause, and contribute to a longer, healthier life.

2. The Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) Revolution

Hormone Replacement Therapy (HRT) is no longer just about managing symptoms of menopause, but now becoming a mainstream, personalized solution for addressing hormonal imbalances and supporting graceful aging. Once considered a taboo topic, menopause is now gaining attention in mainstream conversations, empowering the fact that it is a natural life stage for women. This shift is creating a supportive space for women to explore advanced treatments such as HRT without the stigma associated with it. The integration of wearable wellness tech and at-home diagnostics now allows women to monitor their hormone levels and tailor treatments in the comfort of their home.

The conversation around chronic stress is also gaining traction. There are TikTok trends about "cortisol face" highlighting how high stress levels can contribute to inflammation in the face and body, premature aging, and overall hormonal imbalance. Chronic stress can elevate your cortisol levels, which can negatively impact your skin, energy level, and overall mood.

Red light therapy promotes cell regeneration, reduces inflammation caused by chronic stress, and helps improve overall wellness. By incorporating red light therapy into your daily routine, you can help combat cortisol-related stress while enhancing the benefits of HRT.

3. Personalized Wellness and Health

The era of one-size-fits-all wellness is over. Thanks to advancements in genetic testing and microbiome analysis, wellness strategies can now be tailored to your unique DNA, lifestyle, and gut health. By examining factors like your fitness habits, diet, and genetic predispositions, you can create a wellness plan that aligns perfectly with your biology. Genetic testing can reveal potential issues, such as inflammation or stress, empowering you to address health risks early. HigherDOSE wellness products are designed to integrate seamlessly into these personalized routines, helping you achieve balance, reduce stress, and enhance recovery in a way that suits your individual needs.

Brands like Life Force, Prenuvo, and Sollis Health are at the forefront of personalized health, using advanced testing and data analysis to create wellness strategies tailored to individuals’ genetics, biomarkers, and lifestyles. In-depth blood panels and full-body MRI scans are becoming key tools for optimizing health, boosting energy, and enhancing longevity.

Our collaboration with Oura showed how wellness tech can be incorporated into a self care routine. Editors wore an Oura Ring to track their sleep scores while sleeping on the HigherDOSE PEMF Mat. This was a great way to show how tracking your sleep levels along with the calming effects of infrared therapy can give you a personalized deeper insight on your sleep performance and nighttime wellness routine.

4. Biohacking Homes: Wellness Built into Every Space

Biohacking isn’t only confined to spas, labs, or gyms anymore, but it's becoming a foundation of home designs. Wellness pioneers like Ben Greenfield are creating biohacked homes that are equipped with wellness tools for recovery, detoxing, and performance enhancement. These are tools such as having a personal infrared sauna, an EMF-free zone, or a meditation room. A biohacked home combines functional design with cutting-edge technology to create an environment that actively improves your health, reduces stress, and enhances productivity.

Looking Ahead: The Future of Wellness in 2025

This year, wellness is about personalization, precision, and proactive self-care. Whether it’s leveraging genetic insights, optimizing hormone health, or transforming your home into a biohacker sanctuary, 2025 is the year to take a tailored approach to your health.
