Dr. Sean Altman is a highly experienced Functional Medicine Doctor and Doctor of Physical Therapy, dedicated to providing comprehensive and personalized care for his patients. With over 15 years of experience in outpatient settings, Dr. Altman has successfully treated a diverse range of conditions, including Lyme Disease, Fibromyalgia, Migraines, Autoimmune disorders, orthopedic injuries, spine disorders, chronic pain disorders, neurologic conditions, and more. Dr. Altman’s approach is rooted in evidence-based practices, combining advanced manual therapy techniques with holistic health strategies to address the root cause of health issues. He is proficient in a wide array of treatment modalities, such as Dry Needling, Cupping, Myofascial Release, Peripheral and Spinal Manipulation, and Shockwave Therapy, ensuring that each patient receives cutting-edge care tailored to their specific needs. Throughout his career, Dr. Altman has been recognized for his innovative contributions to integrated medical practices. When Sean isn't dedicated to helping patients recover from chronic pain or heal from orthopedic injuries, he loves spending his free time playing ice hockey and reading books on health and wellness. Sean is also a proud father of two and is married to his incredible wife, a child psychologist. Living in Stamford, Connecticut, Sean is deeply involved in his community, contributing to programs like the Tiger Sharks Learn to Play Hockey, Wheel It Forward, the Stamford Chamber of Commerce, and the American Red Cross.
